The 9 Foods You Should Never Eat

http://www.naturalcuresnotmedicine.com/2014/06/9-foods-never-eat.html

The 9 Foods You Should Never Eat

9-foods
There are a number of unhealthy foods on the market today. It would take forever to list them all so here are my top nine to avoid at all costs…
1) Canned tomatoes
BPA is a toxic chemical linked to reproductive abnormalities, neurological effects, heightened risk of breast and prostate cancers, diabetes, heart disease and more. To avoid this hazardous chemical, avoid canned foods entirely and stick to fresh fruits and vegetables, or switch over to brands that use glass containers instead—especially for acidic foods like tomatoes.
2) Processed meats
Deli meats are typically made with meats from animals given growth hormones, antibiotics and other veterinary drugs. These meats also typically contain sodium nitrite and other chemical flavorings and dyes. Processed should be avoided entirely as processed meats increase your risk of cancer, and NO amount of processed meat is “safe.” Fresh organically-raised grass-fed or pastured meats, or wild caught salmon are healthier options.
3) Margarine
There are a myriad of unhealthy components to margarine and other butter impostors, including trans fats, free radicals, emulsifiers and preservatives, hexane and other toxic solvents. Raw milk butter, when made from grass-fed cows, is rich in beneficial conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which is known to help fight cancer and diabetes.
4) Vegetable oils
Vegetable oils are highly processed, and when consumed in large amounts, they distort the important omega-6 to omega-3 ratio. Vegetable oils can oxidize good cholesterol, turning it into bad cholesterol. Coconut oil is best for cooking as it is not very susceptible to heat damage. It’s also one of the most unique and beneficial fats for your body. Olive oil is easily damaged by heat and is best reserved for drizzling cold over salad.
5) Microwave popcorn
Microwave popcorn bags are lined with PFOA, and when they are heated the compound leaches onto the popcorn. These chemicals are part of an expanding group of chemicals known to disrupt your endocrine system and affect your sex hormones. The EPA has ruled PFCs as “likely carcinogens,” and has stated that PFOA “poses developmental and reproductive risks to humans.”
6) Non-organic potatoes and produce
Your best bet is to buy only organic fruits and vegetables, as synthetic agricultural chemicals are not permissible under the USDA organic rules. That said, not all conventionally grown fruits and vegetables are subjected to the same amount of pesticide load. Fruits and vegetables with the highest pesticide load, making them the most important to buy or grow organically, include apples, cucumbers, spinach, kale and potatoes.
7) Table salt
Regular ‘table salt’ and the salt found in processed foods are NOT identical to the salt your body really needs. Table salt contains chemicals like ferrocyanide and aluminosilicate, and added iodine, while natural salt contains many naturally occurring minerals, including trace minerals like silicon, phosphorous and vanadium. My favorite is Himalayan salt, which contains about 84 trace minerals your body needs.
8) Soy protein isolate and other unfermented soy products
Most soybeans grown in the US are genetically engineered (GE) to be “Roundup Ready.” The active ingredient in Roundup is glyphosate, which disrupts cellular function and can induce many of our modern diseases, including autism. Unfermented soy has also been linked to malnutrition, digestive distress, immune-system breakdown, thyroid dysfunction, cognitive decline, reproductive disorders and infertility—even cancer and heart disease. The only soy with health benefits is organic soy that has been properly fermented, at which point their beneficial properties become available to your digestive system.
9) Artificial sweeteners
Artificial sweeteners such as aspartame can stimulate your appetite, increase carbohydrate cravings, and stimulate fat storage and weight gain. The methanol formed in aspartame can wreak havoc with sensitive proteins and DNA in your body, as humans do not have the protective mechanism that allows methanol to be broken down into harmless formic acid. Toxicology testing on animals is a flawed model, as animals have this protective mechanism while humans do not, so the results do not fully apply to people.

Water: IT'S AMAZING SECRETS FOR HEALTH and WELLNESS

Water:
IT'S AMAZING SECRETS
FOR
HEALTH and WELLNESS

Cure # 1: Water prevents and cures heartburn

Heartburn is a signal of water shortage in the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract.
It is a major thirst signal of the human body. The use of antacids or tablet medications
in the treatment of this pain does not correct dehydration, and the body continues
to suffer as a result of its water shortage.

Tragedy: Not recognizing heartburn as a sign of dehydration and treating it with
antacids and pill medications will, in time, produce inflammation of the stomach
and duodenum, hiatal hernia, ulceration, and eventually cancers in the
gastrointestinal tract, including the liver and pancreas.

Cure # 2: Water prevents and cures arthritis

Rheumatoid joint pain - arthritis - is a signal of water  shortage in the painful joint.
It can affect the young as well as the old. The use of painkillers does not cure the
problem, but exposes the person to further damage from pain medications.
Intake of water and small amounts of salt will cure this problem.

Cure # 3: Water prevents and cures back pain

Low back pain and ankylosing arthritis of the spine are signs of water shortage in
the spinal column and discs - the water cushions that support the weight of the body.
These conditions should be treated with increased water intake - not a commercial
treatment, but a very effective one.

Tragedy: Not recognizing arthritis and low back pain as signs of dehydration in the
joint cavities. Treating them with pain-killers, manipulation, acupuncture, and
eventually surgery will, in time, produce osteoarthritis when the cartilage cells in
the joints have eventually all died. It will produce deformity of the spine.
It will produce crippling deformities of the limbs. Pain medications have their
own life-threatening complications.

Cure # 4: Water prevents and cures angina

Heart pain - angina - is a sign of water shortage in the heart/lung axis.
It should be treated with increased water intake until the patient is free of
pain and independent of medications. Medical supervision is prudent.
However, increased water intake is angina's cure.

Cure # 5: Water prevents and cures migraines

Migraine headache is a sign of water need by the brain and the eyes. It will totally
clear up if dehydration is prevented from establishing in the body. The type of
dehydration that causes migraine might eventually cause inflammation of the back
of the eye and possibly loss of eyesight.

Cure # 6: Water prevents and cures colitis

Colitis pain is a signal of water shortage in the large gut. It is associated with
constipation because the large intestine constricts to squeeze the last drop of
water from the excrement - thus the lack of water lubrication.

Tragedy: Not recognizing colitis pain as a sign of dehydration will cause persistent
constipation. Later in life, it will cause fecal impacting: it can cause diverticulitis,
hemorrhoids and polyps, and appreciably increases the possibility of developing
cancer of the colon and rectum.

Cure # 7: Water and salt prevent and cure asthma

Asthma, which also affects 14 million children and kills several thousand of them
every
year, is a complication of dehydration in the body. It is caused by the drought management
programs of the body. In asthma free passage of air is obstructed so that water does not
leave the body in the form of vapor - the winter steam. Increased water intake will prevent
asthma attacks. Asthmatics need also to take more salt to break the mucus plugs in the lungs
that obstruct the free flow of air in and out of the air sacs.

Tragedy: Not recognizing asthma as the indicator of dehydration in the body of a growing
child not only will sentence many thousands of children to die every year, but also will permit irreversible genetic damage to establish in the remaining 14 million asthmatic children.

Cure # 8: Water prevents and cures high blood pressure

Hypertension is a state of adaptation of the body to a generalized drought, when there
is not enough water to fill all the blood vessels that diffuse water into vital cells. As part of
the mechanism of reverse osmosis, when water from the blood serum is filtered and
injected into important cells through minute holes in their membranes, extra pressure is
needed for the "injection process." Just as we inject I.V. "water" in hospitals, so the
body injects water into tens of trillions of cells all at the same time. Water and some
salt intake will bring blood pressure back to normal!

Tragedy: Not recognizing hypertension, as one of the major indicators of dehydration in
the human body, and treating it with diuretics that further dehydrate the body will, in time,
cause blockage by cholesterol of the heart arteries and the arteries that go to the brain. It will cause heart attacks and small or massive strokes that paralyze. It will eventually cause kidney disease. It will cause brain damage and neurological disorders,
such as Alzheimer's disease.

Cure # 9: Water prevents and cures early adult-onset

Adult-onset diabetes is another adaptive state to severe dehydration of the human
body. To have adequate water in circulation and for the brain's priority water needs,
the release of insulin is inhibited to prevent insulin from pushing water into all body cells.
In diabetes, only some cells get survival rations of water. Water and some salt will
reverse adult-onset diabetes in its early stages.

Tragedy: Not recognizing adult-onset diabetes as a complication of dehydration will,
in time, cause massive damage to the blood vessels all over the body. It will cause eventual
loss of the toes, feet and legs from gangrene. It will cause eye damage, even blindness.

Cure # 10: Water lowers blood cholesterol

High cholesterol levels are an indicator of early drought management by the body.
Cholesterol is a clay-like material that is poured in the gaps of some cell membranes
to safeguard them against losing their vital water content to the osmetically more
powerful blood circulating in their vicinity. Cholesterol, apart from being used to
manufacture nerve cell membranes and hormones, is also used as a "shield" against
water taxation of other vital cells that would normally exchange water
through their cell membranes.

Cure # 11: Water cures depression, loss of libido, chronic

Fatigue syndrome, lupus, multiple sclerosis, and muscular dystrophy. These
conditions are caused by  prolonged chronic dehydration. They will clear up once
the body becomes well and regularly hydrated. In these conditions, exercising
one's muscles should be part of the treatment program.

Drool worthy Culinary Delight!

Film: Chef
Cast: Jon Favreau, Scarlett Johanssen, Sofia Vergara, John Leguizama, Robert Downey Jr., Dustin Hoffman
Director: Jon Favreau

Rating: *  *  * ½

A tasty treat, this Jon Favreau creation has all the ingredients to make for a gastronomical success at the turnstiles. His delectable scripting/direction not only manages to stimulate your appetite but also stirs up plenty of drool worthy moments in the dramatic byplay between the protagonist, his ex-wife and young son.

Favreau casts himself as the lead character, a gruff , roly-poly high-end Los Angeles restaurant Chef, Carl Casper whose job goes on the line when a popular blogger food critic Ramsey Michel (Oliver Platt) decides to come and try out his restaurant fare. Casper’s boss, restaurant owner(Dustin Hoffman) wants him to stick with the regular menu while Casper himself wants to set out an all new menu for the critic to savor. The Boss wins the first round but fails the critical test. The critic’s views go viral and Casper becomes a laughing stalk.  Casper requests his young son’s help for tweeting a response and in the process throws down the gauntlet for a second round confrontation. But with his Boss still sticking to his guns, Casper has no recourse but to leave and depend on his ex-wife Inez (Sofia Vergara)’s ex-husband/lover (Robert Downey Jr.) to bankroll him for a run down second-hand Food truck. Casper then takes us on a tour viz. a road trip  that begins in Los Angeles, relocates to Miami, then returns to the West Coast by way of tasty stopovers in New Orleans and Austin, Tex. Suffice to say, close on the heels of a sell-out tour,  Casper’s astounding culinary talents wins vindication and his career sees a great new high.

It’s the typical American story in the age of social networks where anyone can rise, fall and rise again, given the opportunity and with some concerted efforts. The ADHDness of a whole new generation is of course the catalyst. A sentimental subplot involves Carl’s relationship with his partly estranged 10-year-old son, Percy (Emjay Anthony), who becomes his social media tutor. Casper is unable to connect with his son at first and then when forced to take him along,  finds a meeting ground in his own abilities and work ethic and from therein develops a bond that strengthens as the narrative moves along.
Favreau’s treatment harkens back to his earlier ‘indie’ creations like ‘Swingers’ and ‘Made,’  even though this one(unlike his earlier creations) is stuffed to the gills with shiny star bright ingredients like Dustin Hoffman, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johanssen, Sofia Vergara and John Leguizamo. Add to that a sparkling moderately funny screenplay, well rounded and likeable characters, witty dialogues and tasty performances and you are served up  a delicatessen comedy that’s lip-smackingly delicious in tone and tenor- as buoyed by a spiced-up soundtrack that mixes salsa, soul music and country blues with Carribean flavor. Director of photography, Kramer Morgenthau makes food and scenery look delicious, the editing by Robert Leighton keeps the tempo and momentum brisk while the  production design by Denise Pizzini adds a certain richness to the servings. The overall experience is much like a light-weight soufflĂ©, not exactly deep enough to cater to your hunger pangs, yet delicious enough to whet your appetite! Bon AppĂ©tit, this one’s a must see!
